Alif Corporation Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”) operates an online store offering hardware tools, clamps, safety equipment, electrical and electronic items, machinery, industrial supplies, and related products to retail (individual/public), wholesale, and industrial customers across India.

This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the delivery of products (hereinafter referred to as “Products”) purchased through our Website. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms and Conditions and complies with applicable Indian laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

1. Shipping Locations

  • We primarily ship Products to addresses within India.
  • International shipping is available only upon specific request and is subject to additional charges, customs duties, regulatory requirements, and feasibility.
  • Customers are advised to contact us prior to placing any international order.

2. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after receipt of full payment (via RTGS / NEFT / UPI).
  • For wholesale, industrial, or bulk orders, processing time may extend to 3 to 7 business days depending on order size, customization requirements, and stock availability.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working business day.

3. Delivery Timelines

  • Estimated delivery timelines after dispatch are as follows:
    • Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, etc.): 3 to 7 business days
    • Other major cities: 5 to 10 business days
    • Remote or rural areas: 7 to 15 business days
  • The above timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on courier partner, destination, and logistical factors.
  • We shall not be held liable for delays caused by courier partners, weather conditions, festivals, strikes, customs clearance (for international shipments), or force majeure events.

4. Transfer of Risk

  • For wholesale / B2B / industrial orders, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon dispatch.
  • For retail orders, the risk transfers to the customer upon successful delivery.

5. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on:
    • Weight and/or volume of the order
    • Destination PIN code
    • Total order value (free or discounted shipping may apply on select high-value orders)
  • All applicable shipping charges will be clearly displayed before payment confirmation.
  • For wholesale or bulk orders, freight charges shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Additional charges may apply for remote locations, oversized consignments, or special handling requirements.

6. Dispatch and Tracking

  • Once the order is dispatched, customers will receive a confirmation email and/or SMS containing tracking details and courier partner information.
  • Customers are responsible for tracking their shipment using the provided tracking details.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes in accordance with the transfer of risk terms stated above.

7. Delivery Requirements

  • A complete, correct, and accessible delivery address with a valid PIN code must be provided at the time of checkout.
  • Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the shipment.
  • If delivery fails due to recipient unavailability, incorrect or incomplete address, or refusal to accept delivery, the courier may attempt re-delivery (additional charges may apply) or return the shipment.
  • We shall not be responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect address details, recipient unavailability, or refusal to accept delivery.
  • In case of returned shipments, re-shipping charges shall be borne by the customer.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Customers are advised to inspect the shipment at the time of delivery.
  • Any visible damage must be reported immediately to the courier and to us within 24 hours of delivery, along with supporting photographs.
  • In case of lost shipments, customers must inform us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
  • We will assist in coordinating with the courier partner; however, our liability shall be limited to the extent required under applicable law.

9. Special Notes for Bulk / Industrial Orders

  • Large, heavy, or machinery items may require special freight arrangements and additional delivery time.
  • In remote or non-serviceable areas, delivery may be made to the nearest courier hub or godown.

  • We reserve the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time.
  • Any changes will be published on the Website along with the updated effective date.
